Final Home Meet vs. SV | Heat Sheets + Info

Greetings Wahoo Families,

Tomorrow is our final meet of the season vs. the Shepherd's Vineyard Killer Whales. We will have a Blue Out theme for the meet - lets make it a crazy & fun environment for our swimmers.  It is also Senior Night and we will recognize our senior swimmers and their accomplishments following Butterfly. Attached to this email are heat sheets + volunteer list.  As always, you can find all the meet info consolidate on the MEET DOCUMENT.

Parking for Tomorrow

Shepherds Vineyard will be travelling with over 150 swimmers, so parking is sure to be packed both in the lot (SV Only) and the streets.  If you are able, walking to the event would be helpful in reducing the impact near the pool area.  If you drive, please only park on the pool side of the ride on Walden Creek Drive, and the right side of the road only on the respective side streets.

Weather

There is a small chance of showers and thunderstorms tomorrow evening. More importantly though, it will be very hot to begin the meet. Please make sure your swimmers are hydrated and have plenty of water and sports drinks available to them for the meet.  You may also want to consider bringing personal fans or frozen damp washcloths.  We will take a 5m break following breaststroke for kids to dip in the pool and cool off.

Parent / Coaches Relay

We would love to form a parents team (or 2) to participate in the parents/coaches relay. Bring your suit and stop by the announcers table to let us know you would like to join in!

GO WAHOOS!
