Good morning Wahoos,

We just wanted to send a short note this morning to clarify a few things with the heat sheet for this week. As mentioned in the email yesterday we are trying a new thing in regards to swimmer events. This year we have around 160 swimmers on our team. This is super exciting to have this many kids interested in swimming and excited to learn the sport. However, it does make things take longer when it comes to meets. As anyone who has ever been to a swim meet knows, swim meets can take a very long time. Also, since we have a large the majority of our team going to a year-round school, it is important to respect meet ending times as much as we can. So in an effort to get us home before midnight, we are trying to see if having kids swim one less event than usual makes a difference in meet ending time. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this effort. 

As your kids come in tonight, they will check in at a table with Beth Bearrows as well as Coach Riley and Coach Joella. Our coaches will mark your swimmer with their number as well as a notation that tells them which events they will be swimming. We hope that this will help prevent any confusion when it comes time for each event so that swimmers will know which events they are swimming.
