Weekly News | 7/5 Meet, Cary City, Baseball etc.
June 28th
Greetings Wahoo Families,
We have several upcoming events to share info for:
1. July 5 (WEDNESDAY) Home Meet vs. Olive Chapel
- Take note again...this is a Wednesday meet since Independence Day falls on Tuesday this year.
- Olive Chapel is off to a hot start. We would love to have all swimmers who are in town participate. DECLARE TODAY!
- We are going to do a GLOW theme for this event. We will be providing some red/white/blue glow items, but feel free to bring your own as well.
- CHECK YOUR VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT! Please contact [email protected] if you have a conflict and need to find a replacement. Do not wait. We have a few open slots and would love some additional help.
2. Cary City Meet
- Saturday, July 15 at Cary Swim Club
- Deadline for entry is July 5, at 5pm - but we would appreciate it if you declare now so we can rent an appropriate sized tent for our team.
- Entries are $6 per individual event and $3 per relay entry. Swimmers are limited to 3 individual events (2 for 6&u). 6&u swimmers who participate will swim the full 25yd length of pool.
- This event is a lot of fun, and is open to all Wahoo swimmers. There is a heavy emphasis on theme and decor; its like a big carnival. Our team theme for this year will be NEON and we will go all out making it crazy and fun!
- We will do a pasta pump/movie night under the oaks at 6:30pm on Friday the 14th. This event is open to all swimmers and families - you don't need to be a Cary City participant. We will be serving pasta from Daniels Italian for $5 per person. Online ordering will be live soon. RSVP for this Event Today! Movie selection TBA.
- Much more detail on Cary City Meet can be found on the MEET GOOGLE DOC. Don't miss out!
3. Wahoos "Team of the Night" @ Salamanders Baseball Game

- Tickets are $21 per person and include all you can eat food & drink (hotdogs, burgers, Pepsi products); also an on the field experience prior to the game
